What is Seasol?

Seasol was first developed by chemist Ralph Bayer in Tasmania in 1974, and it was his unique processing technique, which liberated the beneficial properties of the bull kelp washed up on the beaches of King Island.

The same process has been refined and improved over the years, but unlike the mid 70´s when a 34 year old chemist was pioneering a new product, Seasol is now a highly recommended and established brand in the Australian horticultural industry.

The production plant is still located in Tasmania, however the Seasol Head Office is now located in Bayswater, Victoria, and the Seasol Product is available throughout Australia, and exported to countries all over the World.

The range has now grown with the addition of PowerFeed Liquid Fertiliser.
